At Rebuild Mental Health Counseling, my approach is rooted in a positive model of mental health. Positive mental health can be described as a state in which an individual feels emotionally balanced, resilient, and capable of managing daily stress. They can maintain a positive self-image, engage in healthy relationships, and adapt to changing environments and unexpected adversity. Additionally, they experience a sense of purpose and possess the ability to insightfully process thoughts and emotions.
As a counselor, I support clients in examining their lives and environment to find the root causes of their problems. I utilize research-based therapies, philosophy, and real-life experience to guide individuals on their journey to self-discovery. This process fosters awareness, knowledge, and motivation, empowering individuals to heal, change, and move forward in their lives.
